PHASE 1: SAFE RE-OPENING

The Church Sanctuary (at Level 2) will be opened for personal and private prayers and devotion from Tuesday 2 June as follows:
• Tuesday – Friday: 8:00am to 3:00pm
• Saturday – Sunday: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Safe management measures will be put in place, for example:
• Worshippers may only pray individually or together with up to 5 members of the same household.
• No physical interaction between worshippers from different households.
• Safe distancing must be maintained between the worshippers and church staff and mask must be worn at all times.
• Screening and Safe Entry registration must be done at the Drop Off Point
Entrance before proceeding to the Church Sanctuary.

Please inform the church office (62833988) before coming. Upon arrival, please use the Drop Off Point Entrance.

MOTHER’S DAY DONATION

COA 56TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (ONLINE)

Due to Covid-19 situation, we will be conducting our AGM online in accordance with the guidance from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. The AGM will be held for the following purposes:

a) To confirm the Minutes of the 55th AGM held on 28 April 2019;
b) To receive the Annual Report and accept the Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019, and to accept the Budget for the current year;
c) To elect Members to the PCC:
i) People’s Warden
ii) 7 Committee Members
iii) 3 Synod Representatives;
d) To appoint auditors for the ensuing year;
e) To transact any other business

    Nomination form is available on the church app. Members may also request for a softcopy of the nomination form to be sent to them via email. The completed nomination forms must be submitted to the Honorary Secretary, Yvonne Teo, by 2:00pm on Friday 5 June.
  2. ANY OTHER BUSINESS
    Members are requested to submit to the Honorary Secretary or the Church Office AGM Secretariat in writing by email for any business that they intend to bring up at the AGM by Sunday 14 June. Members without online access may call the Church Office AGM Secretariat.

SACS BEFRIENDER INITIATIVE

SACS has started a Safe Shelter Space at DOS Building for "rough sleepers" and those rendered "homeless" by COVID-19 impact.

Volunteers who meet the following requirements are needed as befrienders:
- Male, above 21 years old
- Able to commit between 2 to 3 hours, 2times a week

If you are keen, or know of anyone who can, please contact Chong Wei or the church office.

Volunteers will be registered as "Essential Worker” under SACS.

COLLECTION FOR OUTREACH PROJECTS TO FOREIGN/ MIGRANT WORKERS

The Diocese of Singapore is launching an initiative to reach out to the foreign/ migrant workers who have been affected by the current Covid-19 situation.

ACROSS (Anglican Crisis Relief Outreach & Support, Singapore) has been tasked to coordinate a collection of freewill offering from all the Anglican parishes and the target is S$208,000.

This amount will be used for the following:
- Providing 2-month supply of Multivitamins S$18,000
- Providing 2 meals per day for 14 days to 1,000 workers S$70,000
- Developing media content in 3 major languages (Tamil, Mandarin, Bengali) over 6 months S$120,000

Please contribute generously through one of these ways:
