PRAYER MINISTRY
The Prayer Ministry aims to build up and develop vibrant prayer as a way of
life in individuals and as a church in COA. It is responsible for the
Monthly
Prayer Meetings, the
as well as
Special Prayer Events. It also produces
the "Prayer Focus"
for each week published in the church bulletin and on our
website.
Monthly Prayer Meeting - Hour of Power
Held on the first Thursday of each month from 7.30pm - 8.30pm at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Church of the Ascension, the informal gathering of Ascensionaires aims to spend some time waiting upon the Lord. Listening attentively to His direction and seeking His vision, the group seeks to let God hold the steering wheel of our ministries, outreach and leadership.
Special Prayer Events
are held from time to time in conjunction with various
national, community and church events.
The Prayer Ministry Committee is also responsible for the preparation of the Weekly Prayer Focus that is published in our church bulletin and on this website. Use this and join the whole congregation in united, focused prayer each week.
