Good Practice Award for Kindergartens 2011 by MOE
The Good Practice Award for Kindergartens serves to encourage and recognize good practices within each kindergarten. There are two categories for this award – Team and Individual Award.
Team Award
This award recognizes a team of teachers within the kindergarten who has worked together on a project that has significant impact on the kindergarten.
The Moral Education Team has won this award with their “You Can Do It!” project. This is a social and emotional program which emphasizes on the curricula explicitly targeting on social-emotional learning standards for all children. With the implementation of the program and through the many interactive activities, our kindergarten is now developing a strong culture of achievement, with a whole school approach that underpins all teaching and learning.
Individual Award
This award allows each kindergarten to recognize a teacher who has implemented good practices that have a significant impact in raising the quality of teaching and learning in the kindergarten.
Ms Gaspar has won this award with her passion for teaching and display of enthusiasm about the subject matter and students. She takes pride in her observation of children’s interest and design child-centered activities. She is also a good teacher mentor to novice teacher with her generosity in giving guidance and advice.
