THE MASTERLIFE SERIES

As part of the Church of the Ascension's programme to build a disciple out of every church member and to help him/her disciple others, all cell and small groups will embark on the MasterLife series of studies. Here are some FAQs to help you understand this programme better.

Why MasterLife?

In line with the Parish Life Review (PLR) of the church, it is the desire of the PLR team to develop Church of the Ascension into 3 keys areas namely:

• Discipleship

• Leadership

• Community

The Masterlife series is able to cover all three aspects.

What is MasterLife?

It is a developmental small group discipleship process consisting of 24 lessons that help Christians develop a lifelong obedient relationship with Christ.

In short it enables every member to be a disciple and a disciple-maker!

What are the advantages?

• It is grounded in Scriptures

• It is practical with applications, reflective questions and personal journaling

• It enables the development of leaders through mentoring process

How can I be involved?

There are two ways you can do so:

• Sign up with any HCG (see list below) - you can email the cell leader or call our church office to help place you in a cell group

• Form your own small group!

The target is that by end 2008, 75% of Ascensioners have embarked on this project with a certificate being presented upon completion.
